Sally Clark is a pastel artist who discovered her passion in her early 30s, after years of feeling like her drawings never matched what she saw. A simple $6 drawing class at the Morton Senior Center changed everything, building her confidence and revealing a natural gift for portraits and animal studies.
Pastels quickly became her favorite medium for their rich color, layered depth, and expressive texture. Sally is drawn to dramatic imagery – wildlife, beloved pets, and expressive human faces – creating artwork that captures personality, emotion, and presence. She also accepts select commissions when the reference photo inspires her.
