Sally Clark is a pastel artist who discovered her passion in her early 30s, after years of feeling like her drawings never matched what she saw. A simple $6 drawing class at the Morton Senior Center changed everything, building her confidence and revealing a natural gift for portraits and animal studies.
Pastels quickly became her favorite medium for their rich color, layered depth, and expressive texture.
She looks for subjects with a story in their eyes
Sally is particularly drawn to dramatic imagery, whether it’s wild creatures, beloved pets, or expressive human faces.
